The problem

Why we built it.

A good browser game should be easy to start, clear to learn and worth another attempt, whether you play with a keyboard or on a phone.

What the application does.

  • Choose word lengths from three to ten letters and work through five attempts.
  • Get immediate letter-position feedback through the board and on-screen keyboard.
  • Track elapsed time and saved personal results in a responsive, installable web app.

Engineering evidence

Beyond the interface.

  • TypeScript
  • Vite
  • PWA
  • Datamuse API
  1. TypeScript game rules stay separate from interface controllers and saved-score storage.

  2. A dictionary API supplies words, while a service worker supports application caching.

  3. Deterministic game and data modules have automated tests, alongside interface-level checks.
